Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Code & Develop software specifications ,scripts , reports and utilities using SQL , PL/SQL, BI Publisher, Workflow Builder and Unix Shell Scripting.
  • Design and Develop Stored procedures, Functions and Triggers in PL/SQL to implement complex business rules.
  • Lead the technical team at offshore to successfully implement the EBS solutions in close partnership with different stakeholders like onsite technical leads, Functional and feeds teams.
  • Support the technical testing of the solution including user story acceptance, SIT, UAT, and other typical ERP testing methodologies in both agile and waterfall.
  • Communicating to and soliciting information from a variety of technical and functional experts.
  • Attending, participating and/or leading meetings and discussions, particularly those that will have a high disruption factor to the community of users.
  • Completing all assigned project deliverables and associated documentation at sufficient levels of detail to communicate to a broad audience.
  • Maintaining and/or contributing to the technical aspects of the overall project plan throughout the course of the project by supporting the project management activities and status reporting of the project. The incumbent will also be responsible for vendor relationship management and escalations.
  • Supporting the technical team in developing technology standards (e.g. architecture design, environment control, instance strategy, change control and migration control).
  • Monitoring and tracking all open tickets with the vendor for timely resolution.
  • Support the project team in Change Management, providing guidance and support of organizational change and communications based on changes made to the systems.
  • Work with functional business analysts to gather business requirements & translate them into technical specifications documents.
  • Generate, Deploy and Invoke web services.
  • Get involved in post-production support and work with Level 2, functional and DBA teams to troubleshoot the issues.
  • Work on oracle Service Requests using Metal ink to mitigate issues as a result of bugs in the product.

Qualification and Essential Skills:

  • 13+ years of IT experience in oracle e- business suite software implementation/integration and business process design.
  • Strong experience in Procure to pay and Order to cash cycle in Oracle R12 Application.
  • Excellent knowledge in Customization Forms, designing reports and Interfacing data from legacy system.
  • Experience in interacting with Users, gathering requirements, System requirements study, system analysis, systems integration & documentation.
  • Raising SR with oracle, following them and closing them.
  • Good understanding of Modules functionality and Business Processes.
  • Good Knowledge of oracle Applications architecture and oracle Database architecture
  • Experience in design and development of database applications in Client/ Server environment with Oracle Development suite (Forms 6i, 9i,10g and Reports 6i, 9i,10g), OAF Forms, PL/SQL in Linux and Windows environments
  • Understanding of the Functional Specification Document(MD 50) and preparation of Technical Specification Document(MD 70) and unit test document.
